Remote Education

From Thursday 24 February, the Government removed the legal requirement to self-isolate following a positive Covid19 test. Adults and children who test positive will continue to be advised to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for at least 5 full days, and then continue to follow the guidance until they have received 2 negative test results on consecutive days.

To support children who are self isolating, we are using the National Oak Academy. This is a free to use national  organisation providing an online classroom and resource hub across the UK. This can be accessed by clicking on the image above.

Across the school, the  teachers have identified National Oak units of work for the children to access at home. These units align closely to our school curriculum. Please click on the relevant year group link below to access the lessons and resources for your child/ children to work on at home as they continue their self- isolation.

Online remote education may be further provided through our use of Microsoft Teams. This is an online application which allows us to work remotely – sharing information and completing learning challenges remotely. All the children across the school have their own individual usernames and log-ins to access Office 365 and thereby Microsoft Teams. Anyone requiring help or support with remote education is encouraged to e mail or telephone school.

The school’s contact telephone numbers are  01782 235781 / 01782 235518
