Pastoral Care
The pastoral care of the children at Sandford Hill is the responsibility of everyone. We do our very best to meet the emotional needs of all our children through positive relationships, our vision and values and the golden thread of ‘Thoughtfulness, Respect and Hard Work’ which weaves through everything that we do.
In addition to this, our pastoral team deliver interventions to children where there is a need for a more individualised nurture provision.
Home Hub
Our Home hub is an area in school where the needs of individual children are met through the delivery of an emotional literacy curriculum. There is a whole school graduated response (see below) to meeting the mental wellbeing of all children, of which the Home Hub is accessed from tier 2 onwards.
